First things first. You will need an order from your pediatrician or primary doctor stating "Speech to evaluate and treat as indicated." You will also need to get a Certificate of Medical Necessity form completed. We can assist you with that.

We are in network with Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance companies. Call us today to see if your we are in network with your insurance. 

Most Medicaid plans will cover speech services. Each private insurance plan is unique. It is your responsibility as the patient to know your plan benefits and coverage. Pure Therapy will advocate for coverage by providing adequate documentation. 

Certain insurances require prior authorizations before starting evaluation or services. You will be notified if additional documentation is needed to begin services. 

Unfortunately, all insurances are unique and may not cover speech services. We can continue to bill your insurance, or you have the option to pay privately for your services.

Evaluations are comprehensive and will consist of getting a medical & family history, observations, and formal or informal testing. An hour is generally expected when completing an evaluation. 

Typically, therapy sessions are 30 minutes twice a week; however, session duration and frequency are tailored specifically towards the patient's needs.
